Blue Jade Sweet Corn Seeds from Hudson Valley Seeds. Heirloom seeds & contemporary art, all in one pack! Illustrated by Daniel Baxter.

Start a conversation with this interesting and tasty heirloom sweet corn.

Direct sow after threat of frost has passed. Plant corn in blocks, at least 4 rows per block, to ensure proper pollination for kernel formation. Requires fertile soil and little attention. Harvest when ears are full and kernels are swollen and light blue in color. Take care not to let ears over-ripen. Blue Jade can be grown in large containers: sow clusters of 3 seeds spaced 12" apart. Due to the small plant size, the ears are about half the size of an ear of standard sweet corn. A great variety for small spaces and container gardens.

Plant the seeds, frame the art!
