Charley Harper's Woodpecker Earrings

Charley Harper (American, 1922-2007) observed of the red-bellied woodpecker that this is the bird with the belly that baffles beginning birders--its belly is almost ALL WHITE! (except for a tiny spot of red). But the red-bellied's head is red like the red-headed woodpecker. 

Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print, ear wires are hypo-allergenic.

Hangs approx. 2", and presented in a gift box with provenance card.
